The applications for smart watches are becoming increasingly diverse. You can order it eat it, send them messages, see the time (what !?) and your car to start with. Hyundai will launch in the first quarter of this year, an Android app that allows you to wear the car remote ‘control’.
Hyundai Blue Link
Hyundai from 2012 different models in the United States provide Blue Link, a system whereby the car is connected to cloud services. In the first quarter of 2015, a special app for smart watches with Android Wear. This makes it possible to start the car, stop the engine (when a special mode is on, not just while driving), to find the parking location of the car, the car locked and unlocked and the horn to Sounding or leave the flash lamps.
The app may perhaps not yet come to the UK, it is certainly an interesting application for smart watches. It’s not really an essential function, but another perk. The new features can all be activated by voice commands.
Availability
It seems that the announcement that Hyundai has done, only applies to the United States. We still have no evidence that the system will soon come to the Benelux. We do know that Hyundai is one of the companies that have cars will feature Android Auto. This may be connected smartphones with Android 5.0 or later with the car and can show a special car display.
