Free VPN app Opera now also for Android – Personal Computer Magazine

Opera has its free VPN app released for Android. The application that first had been for iOS is now available in the Play Store. But you need a free VPN now trust?

Opera announced its free VPN app earlier this year already. Initially the service would be built into the browser, but later they also released an iOS app. Meanwhile, the Android app is also in the Play Store.

The application makes it possible to surf without a data limit by 5 servers. One of the servers located in the Netherlands, the other in America, Canada, Germany and Singapore. The app is free to use.



Too good to be true?

A free VPN often sounds too good to be true, and in this case there seems to be a catch to sit the grass. So Operas VPN collects information about users’ browsing activities, such anonymous information about which pages are visited and from which location
