Sony is trying to solve this problem with the XAV-AX100. This radio can be installed in two panel bays and supports both Android Auto and Apple Carplay. The basic device consists of a 6.4 “touchscreen with a resolution of 800 by 480 pixels. Obviously the system has Bluetooth, but Sony has also NFC support and ensure an AUX input.
The XAV-AX100 should be in stores in November for a suggested retail price of $ 499.99. Whether the car will come to the Netherlands is not yet known, as is the price.
