That there are still new features discovered in Android 7.0 Nougat is remarkable . Google recently gave the fifth and final Android Developer Preview N-free and it is expected that the final version rolls out within days. It rarely happens that Google still so close to the release adds new features, especially because they can not be tested by a wider audience.

It suggests that the night mode is not for any Android 7.0 device, but at least for the time being is exclusive to Nexus devices. These smartphones have more often a step ahead of other Android devices. Because Google night mode would have only a handful of Nexus smartphones testing is relatively easy to make the feature limited. Moreover, are the new Nexus Sailfish and Marlin is expected to take several weeks or months in stores, making Google longer has the time to test the feature.
