Android 6.0 Marshmallow is now finally available for OnePlus X. Owners of the device have had to wait a long time, but are now up and running with an interim update.

This is called community update for the OnePlus X. It is in fact a preliminary version of the new software that is not quite working properly. The update also offers a few new icons and various improvements to make Android running smoothly before. The update can be downloaded from the manufacturer’s website.
According OnePlus has this preliminary version include an incomplete translation. In addition, work apps from other developers might not transfer and is received in some regions backwards after installing the update. The final version of the update, which presumably will appear within a few weeks, solves these problems

Also added individual app permissions, which gives you better insight into data that can see the apps on your device. The update also adds the OnePlus Music Player and OnePlus Gallery member, respectively, music and photos.
About the OnePlus X
The OnePlus X is the entry level model of the Chinese manufacturer. The device features a 5-inch display with Full HD resolution, 13 megapixel camera and 16GB of storage. X has the same hardware as the original OnePlus One, including the now almost three years old 801 Snapdragon chip from Qualcomm. The unit is on the website of the manufacturer currently selling for 239 euros.
