Shortly after these statements already published several reports that the information would not be correct. That the information in fact is not true shows in Germany today. Samsung is in fact in Germany started to roll out its Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S., reports SamMobile.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S was the most expensive tablet from Samsung in 2014 to underline that the Galaxy Tab S flagship Samsung was among the tablet was by Samsung in the Netherlands in July 2014 even a special ‘launch event’ organized for buyers of the tablet. Usually more expensive Android smartphones and tablets, surely at least half to two years up-to-date by manufacturers. The news that this would not apply to the Tab S was therefore quite remarkable.

Throughout its life cycle, the Galaxy Tab S received so far one update. The tablet was presented in June 2014 with Android 4.4.2 Kitkat and later received an update to Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. What follows then still an update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Given the tablet is now almost two years old, it is in line with expectations that this is the last (big) update the Samsung Galaxy Tab S will receive.
