Google’s Creative Lab has launched an app which is the static background your smartphone turns into a widget that passes on a visual information about Wi-strength, battery level and number of notifications

The wifi signal will appear as a green triangle with the name of the network underneath. The battery percentage can be read through a stack purple ball and notifications on a blue square.
Through the telephone tilt or move the widget can be manipulated. Meter app is available for free from Google Play
