Huawei has announced which devices under the brand Huawei Honor and expect the upgrade to Android 6.0. Unfortunately, the company has given no timeline, so we do not know when updates will appear on these devices.
Now Google Android 6.0 Marshmallow has been released into the wild, more and more manufacturers let you know when each device will receive the latest version of the Android operating system. In recent weeks we have both Sony Samsung been told that smartphones, tablets and phablets get the Marshmallow update. We also have an unofficial list with Android devices, which we do not know for sure whether all of these devices also get Android 6.0.
This week, Huawei has announced that Huawei and Honor devices are equipped with the new Android. We call them for convenience but equally at all.
All of the above devices so get Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but under the guidance of Huawei’s own EMUI (Emotion UI). So that means you will not stock Android experience, but an experience with a little extra in the form of apps and features that are not standard with vanilla Android.
