These devices receive the new Android Marshmallow – Bright

Android 6.0 Marshmallow appear later today. Which devices get the new version?

It is possible from October 5th to update to a new version of Android, at least, if your smartphone or tablet is eligible. Marshmallow is Android version 6.0 of Google’s operating system. One of the improvements is that you get more control over what apps are allowed to use. Users can now approve specific permissions.

The system is the first standard support built-in fingerprint scanners. Android also uses less power in the background. Marshmallow Android also supports the new USB Type-C, including the ability for devices to each other USB charging.

In the coming weeks and months manufacturers with the updates. We put a mark below an overview of which devices updated to Marshmallow is expected.

Google Nexus

The new Nexus devices from Google, the Nexus 6P and 5X, run directly on Android Mashmallow. The operating system is also available from October 5 Nexus 5, 6, 7 and 9. The Nexus 10 will not update.

Motorola

Motorola was first owned by Google and is now subject to Lenovo, but still running on Stock Android. The Moto X Style, Moto X Play, Moto X (2014), Moto Maxx, Turbo Moto and Moto G (2014 and 2015) are equipped with Android Marshmallow. A specific date has not yet, but the handsets of Motorola are usually ready with.

HTC

LG

From LG is still little known. However, it should be seen from the LG website that Marshmallow support comes for the LG G3 and G4, although it is unclear when. The smartphone maker has also not yet elated about which appliances qualify.

Samsung

Samsung has not said anything about updating its devices to Android 6.0, but it is expected that the high-end devices like the Galaxy S6, S6 Galaxy Edge (+), the Galaxy Note 4 or 5 and can expect an update. Furthermore come the Galaxy Note Edge, the Galaxy Note 4 Duos, Galaxy S6 Duos, Galaxy Alpha and Galaxy Tab A into account.

Sony

Sony is (as always) late disclosure which devices gain support for the new Android version. Probably, the Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact, Z5 Premium Xperia Z4, Xperia Z3 (+) and the Xperia Z4 tablet well equipped Android Marshmallow, but when is the question.

Huawei

Also, Huawei has made no list available. However, the smartphone manufacturer has announced that the P8′s first device that Android 6.0 will run, it’s just not yet known if
