Motorola puts Moto E 2015 is not on the list for Android 6.0 update – Tweakers

Motorola announced that smartphones get an update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Interestingly, the Moto E 2015 is missing from the list, while Motorola at launch just promised that the budget smartphone up to date would continue

Android Police notes that in the fine print on the promotional the Moto E 2015 is that the smartphone will have at least one update. The unit was shipped with Android 5.0 and has now been updated to Android 5.1.
