Huawei’s P8, 7 Mate, Mate and G7 S update to Android 6.0 – TechTastic

Huawei has recently for the weekend announced that smartphones will be updating the company’s future to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It seems that only the recent high-end devices will be updated Huawei, including G7 Huawei, Huawei P8, some devices Honor and phablets from the Mate range. When Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is released is still unclear, but in the short term, we seem nothing expect to need, as the Chinese company will not begin until next month to develop.

The list of smartphones that are updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow can be found on the website of China’s Huawei. This is Huawei’s devices in the future can expect the Android 6.0 update: P8 Huawei, Huawei P8max, G7 Huawei, Huawei Mate S, Huawei Mate 7, 6 Honor, Honor 6 Plus, 4X Honor and Honor 7. notable absentee on the list is the 2014 cast Huawei P7, because this unit as there is no update to the stands now and will thus stabbing on Android 1.5 Lollipop.

When Huawei releases the Android 6.0 update for the aforementioned devices is unclear, because it starts surprisingly in November with the development of the firmwares, while the first developer previews since late May are available. In the short term, we need at least nothing to expect from Huawei and the chance that the update later this year, in our view, zero.

In recent weeks, several smartphone manufacturers already announced which devices are updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The first non-Nexus smartphone receives the update is the LG G4, earlier this week the company announced that next week kicks off with the rollout. In addition, Motorola and Sony have also announced that they are going to update a large number of handsets in the near future to Android 6.0
